| MCT is a trust integrated by the following companies:
MAPRINCA, CAFIVI and TEIVE. It is engaged in the manufacture
of gate, check and ball valves, made of carbon steel and other
special materials in 150, 300, 600, 900, 1500 and 2500 API Series.
Its plant is located in the city of Anaco, Anzoategui State,
Venezuela, South America. Our product is manufactured under
rigorous Quality Systems (Programs), certified with ISO 9001:2000,
strictly following API, ASTM, ANSI/ASME, MSS and other standards
that regulate this type of manufacture, also offering the production
of valves with special requirements (standards) upon customers
specifications. The manufacturing process begins in the Engineering
Department where skilled personnel is responsible for valve
designs, drawings and product specifications. Once the drawings
are completed, they pass to the Pattern Workshop, where the
pattern plates are made. With the purpose of assuring technical
conditions leading to efficient molds, the models are periodically
revised. These molds will be later used in the casting area
where the induction furnaces that produce carbon steel and other
required special materials, are found. We also have a Forging
Shop with presses used to manufacture different valve components.
Next to the Forging Shop there is a Die Forging Shop where the
required dies are made. The Quality Control Department is composed
by a group of previously trained inspectors with subsequent
specializations in specific areas. This Department is also equipped
(rigged) with sophisticated equipment to perform tests and inspections
required by the company. All levels of production are carefully
inspected to guarantee the quality of our product. Valves are
dispatched with their corresponding Quality Certificate to assure
customers satisfaction. In the Machining Area pieces are strictly
manufactured according to drawing specifications and for this
we work with a wide variety of high-tech machining tools which,
together with appropriately trained operators, allow us to maintain
MCT desired quality standards. In the Assembling Area
we obtain the final product where the said valve is assembled
and tested according to API and BS standards. Here we have a
simulation bank to experiment on prototype valves conditions
similar to those experienced by the valve in the working field.
The product is then taken to the Painting Area for the final
finish and afterwards passes to Storage and Dispatch Areas.
MCT, in its desire to achieve the excellence of its products
and Quality Program, also has a Customers Attention Department,
which schedules visits to sites where our valves are installed,
promotes speeches (lectures, talks) regarding their operation
and maintenance, and keeps close communication with our clients.
